Friday December 6, 2024  We will leave Raleigh at 7:00 a.m. and make our way to Myrtle Beach and check into our hotel.  .  Before we head to the Alabama Theatre, we will have an included dinner will be at the Chestnut Hill Restaurant.  After dinner, we will head to the South’s Grandest Christmas Show at the Alabama Theater which, brings an incredible combination of talent, scenery and special effects to the Grand Strand to produce a spectacular new holiday musical experience sure to put you in the season’s spirit. This Christmas Show on the Grand Strand will instill the true meaning of Christmas in you with its combination of traditional classics and contemporary holiday favorites. This festive Holiday Show invites people from all over the country.

We will enjoy an included breakfast and shopping at Broadway at the Beach.  Later that evening, dinner will be at the famous Original Benjamin’s.  We will then enjoy an evening of soulful entertainment, as we embark on a musical journey through the history of Motown, a genre that broke down social barriers and infused music of the 60’s and 70’s with life and rhythm. Tap your feet to the music as the story unfolds with the history of Motown. Sing along with the entire show, featuring hits from all the musical titans, including Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Jackson 5 and many more!

We will check out of our hotel room and have another included breakfast.  After breakfast, we will head to the Festival of Trees exhibit at the Ripley’s Aquarium.  The Festival of Trees exhibit features over 55 originally decorated Christmas trees according to each state and territory within the United States. Each guest will also receive a scavenger hunt to add to the fun. You will also be able to tour the Aquarium.

Before departing for home, we will have  Tea under the Sea at the Aquarium. This Tea will include a variety of Delicate Tea Sandwiches, English Scones, Fresh Seasonal Fruit, Pastries and Cookies, Hot Wassail, Hot Teas and Coffee.
