Tour of Lancaster, PA and The Underground Railroad Experience

In addition to the performance of ‘Queen Esther”, this trip includes a guided tour of Lancaster County’s old-fashioned charm and homespun warmth that stems from the Amish community.  The tour will take us through scenic Pennsylvania Dutch Country where we will discover Amish Communities where life moves at a slower pace and centers around time-honored traditions and values. You’ll find beautiful scenery dotted with one-room schoolhouses and wooden covered bridges, modern farm machinery being pulled behind four-and six-mule teams, homemade clothing and quilts gently blowing in the breeze, and where you’ll hear the clip-clop of horses’ hooves echoing down quiet country roads.   We will stop at road side stands, craft store, and an Amish Bakery.  We will also spend time at Kitchen Kettle Village, which boasts 42 shops, homemade Pennsylvania Dutch sweets, and delicious canned goods.
